At the hair room sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. We are excited to share, we are now proudly partnering with The Green Salon Collective since opening our new location to take our commitment to the planet to the next level.
From recycling hair clippings to properly disposing of chemicals,we are making sure that every step we take has a positive impact on our environment.
Here’s how we do it;
- Hair clippings: instead of sending clippings to the landfill, we recycle them to help create sustainable products like compost or even oil spill absorbents!Every snip helps.
- Salon Waste: we are reducing our environmental footprint by recycling items like colour tubes, foils, and eco shower heads. These materials are properly disposed of or repurposed, preventing waste from piling up in landfills.
- Chemical Waste: The Green Salon Collective ensures that products like hair dyes and other chemicals are disposed of safely and sustainably protecting our water systems.
- Compostable Towels: we have swapped out traditional towels for compostable alternatives ensuring that every aspect of your service leaves a smaller environmental footprint.
- Sustainable Practices; from eco-friendly products to minimizing energy use, we are dedicated to creating a greener, cleaner salon experience.
To help keep our initiative running, we are introducing a 50cents recycling fee. This fee is optional, so if you prefer not to contribute, we can simply remove it from your bill.
